Backroads Veterinary Care provides mobile veterinary care for farm (cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs) and companion animals (dogs and cats). Services include:
- Physical examinations
- Diagnosis and treatment of disease
- Herd health visits with preventative medicine programs tailored to your farm or ranch
- Vaccinations
- Regulatory testing (tuberculosis, brucellosis, equine Coggins testing, etc.)
- Certificates of Veterinary Inspection ("Health Certificates")
- Laboratory testing
- Quality veterinary products
- At-home euthanasia
- Educational programs on animal care for ranch staff and 4H/FAA group
Client referral
Veterinarians are dedicated to providing the best care for their animal patients. In this spirit, we frequently consult and work with each other to achieve our common goal. I may refer cases for specialized or in-hospital care. Referrals are made to the veterinary hospital of your choice or the Eldorado Animal Clinic (companion animals), whereas farm animals may be referred to Cameron Veterinary Services, Middleton Equine Hospital, Thal Equine, or Colorado State University.
